Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker: Flop, Turn & River Bets

a live dealer on Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker by Evolution at 789Bingo

Learn how Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker by Evolution works, with its 2x Flop wager, 1x Turn/River bets, 99.47% total-bet RTP and Bonus rules.

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker by Evolution turns community-card poker into a direct contest against the house, with no bluffing and no competing player stacks. The defining feature of this casino game online is the betting sequence: continue for 2× the Ante before seeing the Flop, then decide separately whether to add 1× bets after the Flop and Turn before the River completes the board.

The payout structure adds another wrinkle. If your final five-card hand beats the dealer with less than a Straight, the later wagers can win at 1:1 while the original Ante simply pushes. A Straight or better is required for a winning Ante to pay 1:1 under Evolution’s published rules.

One Shared Hand With Decisions Across Three Streets

Quick Stats: One 52-card deck | 2× pre-Flop continuation | 99.47% theoretical return based on total main-game wagering

Evolution created Live Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker with Games Marketing and launched the live version in 2018. Unlike traditional multiplayer Texas Hold’em, participants compete against the dealer rather than one another. Evolution’s public game information also confirms that there is no betting decision after the River card.

The game uses one standard 52-card deck and shuffles it after each round. All participating players use the same player hand, while the dealer has a separate pair of hidden hole cards. Five community cards are then revealed in the familiar Texas Hold’em sequence: Flop: three cards; Turn: one card; and River: one card.

Both player and dealer ultimately make the best five-card poker hand available from their two hole cards and the five community cards. Unlike Casino Hold’em, there is no separate dealer-qualification requirement controlling whether the showdown takes place. The two final poker hands are compared directly.

Evolution’s rules express the main-game return in two ways: 97.96% based on the Ante and 99.47% based on total money wagered. Those percentages are not two RTP configurations that a player selects in the lobby. The difference comes from the denominator.

The casino game online house edge measured against the original Ante looks larger because the player can subsequently add 2×, 1× and 1× wagers. When theoretical loss is instead measured against all money placed during optimal play, the ratio falls and the corresponding return is expressed as 99.47%.

So the safest technical wording is Main game RTP: 97.96% based on Ante, or 99.47% based on total wagered amount under optimal play. Do not describe 99.47% as though it were an independently selectable betting position.

The First Decision Costs 2× the Ante

Every main-game round begins with an Ante. After the player and dealer receive their two hole cards, the player’s cards are visible while the dealer’s remain face down.

At this point, the player chooses Fold or continue for 2× the Ante. Suppose the Ante is ₱100. Folding ends the main hand and loses ₱100.

Continuing requires ₱200, so the main-game exposure immediately becomes ₱300 before any community cards have appeared. This is the largest single additional wager in the sequence. It also means the small-looking Ante should not be treated as the likely maximum amount required to complete one round.

The Flop Adds a Check-or-Bet Decision

    After the player continues, three community cards form the Flop. The next choice is Check or add 1× the Ante. With a ₱100 Ante, the optional Flop-stage addition is therefore another ₱100;

Checking does not fold the hand. The player remains active and the Turn card is still dealt.

This is an important distinction from Casino Hold’em, where the central decision occurs after seeing the Flop and requires one Call wager to continue. Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker lets the player stay in the hand without adding a wager at this stage.

The Turn Creates the Final Betting Decision

After the Flop action is complete, the dealer reveals the Turn. The player again chooses: Check or add another 1× Ante wager.

If the Ante was ₱100, this means another optional ₱100. The River is then dealt.

There is no further betting decision after the River. Evolution identifies that missing post-River wager as one of the defining differences between its live product and traditional Texas Hold’em.

This gives the complete maximum main-game betting sequence: Ante = 1×; Pre-Flop continuation = 2×; After Flop = up to 1×; After Turn = up to 1×; and Maximum main-game amount placed = 5× the Ante. For a ₱100 Ante, completing every available wager would therefore commit ₱500 before optional side bets.

Why the River Bet Is Placed Before the River

The naming of this casino game online can be confusing. Some Texas Hold’em Bonus interfaces and rules call the wager made after the Turn the River wager because it is placed before the River card is dealt. That does not mean there is another decision once the River becomes visible.

The sequence is Hole cards → 2× continuation → Flop → optional 1× → Turn → optional 1× → River → showdown. The River closes the betting sequence rather than opening another one.

This is useful to explain clearly because ordinary poker terminology often refers to a “River betting round.” Evolution Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker does not provide one after the fifth community card appears.

Winning the Hand Does Not Always Win the Ante

This is the most unusual settlement rule in the main game. When the player’s final five-card hand beats the dealer: the continuation wagers pay 1:1. The Ante is treated separately.

If the player wins with a Straight or better the Ante also pays 1:1. But if the player’s winning hand is below a Straight, the Ante is returned as a push rather than producing profit.

Consider Player final hand: Two Pair and Dealer final hand: One Pair. The player wins the showdown. Any active continuation wagers pay 1:1.

But the Ante does not win because Two Pair ranks below a Straight. It pushes. Now consider Player: Flush and Dealer: Straight.

The player wins with a hand above the threshold. The continuation bets pay 1:1 and the Ante also pays 1:1. That separation between winning the showdown and qualifying the Ante for a payout is central to the game.

Straight or Better Means Six Poker Categories

Evolution’s threshold includes Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, and Royal Flush. Hands below the threshold are Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, and High Card. A winning hand in one of those lower categories can still produce profit on the 2× and active 1× wagers.

Only the Ante pushes. The distinction is especially important for someone coming from Ultimate Texas Hold’em or Casino Hold’em because those games settle their base wagers through different qualification and paytable rules.

Losing and Tied Showdowns Are Simpler

If the dealer’s final five-card hand is better, the main wagers lose. That includes the Ante, 2× continuation wager, and any active 1× Flop/Turn-stage wagers. Optional side bets remain separate and follow their own criteria.

If player and dealer form hands of equal poker value, all active main wagers push. Poker tie-breaking follows conventional Hold’em casino game online rules, including kickers where required. There is no suit hierarchy used to break an otherwise equal hand.

The Bonus Bet Looks Only at the Starting Cards

Evolution also offers an optional Bonus wager. This side bet does not wait for the Flop, Turn or River.

Its result comes from the original hole-card combinations and settles independently of who wins the main showdown. Evolution’s public product information confirms a maximum published Bonus payout of 1,000:1.

The published Evolution ruleset includes qualifying combinations such as lower pocket pairs; premium pocket pairs; suited A-K, A-Q or A-J; and premium Ace combinations. Mirrored Evolution rules and current operator implementations publish the following structure:

    Bonus Result

    Payout

Both player and dealer hold A-A

    1,000:1

    Player A-A

    30:1

    10:1

    A-Q or A-J unsuited

    5:1

    Pair 2-2 through 10-10

    3:1

The Bonus wager’s published theoretical RTP is 91.46%, materially lower than the optimized main game. The 1,000:1 entry should therefore be described as highest published Bonus side-bet payout rather than a universal 1,000× maximum win for Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker.

The First Five Jackpot Uses Only Five Cards

Evolution also developed a First Five Progressive Jackpot for this title. The name describes exactly which cards matter player’s two hole cards + the three-card Flop.

Those first five cards create the jackpot hand. Later Turn and River cards do not improve it.

Evolution states that a Royal Flush can win the progressive top prize, while lower qualifying poker hands receive fixed awards. The provider launched the feature through an optional programme for licensees, so its presence should not be assumed on every operator deployment. The published theoretical RTP for the First Five wager is 81.84% in the Evolution ruleset.

Folding the Main Hand Does Not Redefine Side Bets

The Bonus and First Five wagers are separate from the player-versus-dealer result. This matters when a weak starting hand is folded. Folding surrenders the main Ante.

It does not retroactively change the cards that determine an independently placed side wager. Evolution describes the Bonus and First Five bets as separate opportunities that can pay regardless of the dealer’s final main-game result.

That independence should not be interpreted as a reason to place them automatically. Their theoretical returns are lower than the optimized main game.

Casino Game Online Players Start With the Same Hand

Evolution’s version does not deal unique live player hole cards to every bettor around a conventional multiplayer table. Its published rules state all players play the same hand. That structure lets many online players participate in one live-dealt round without competing against one another.

There is no pot. One player’s winnings do not come from another player’s chips. Everyone taking part is independently settling wagers against the dealer using the same player-side cards and community board.

That also means traditional poker concepts such as bluffing, reading opponents, position, and pot odds against other stacks do not define this casino version. The decisions concern whether and when to commit additional wagers against a fixed house ruleset.

Texas Hold’em Bonus vs Casino Hold’em

The two titles use two hole cards and five community cards, but their decision structures are different. Casino Hold’em usually asks for one major Call/Fold decision after the three-card Flop and has a dealer qualification rule. Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker asks for the first major decision before the Flop, requires a 2× wager to continue, then offers additional 1× betting opportunities after the Flop and Turn.

Texas Hold’em Bonus also does not use the same dealer-qualification structure. Those differences are large enough that the two should not share near-identical game information.

Texas Hold’em Bonus vs Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Ultimate Texas Hold’em also spreads decisions across different stages, but its wager logic is not interchangeable with Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker. Ultimate uses Ante + Blind and permits one Play raise whose size depends on when the player acts. Evolution’s Texas Hold’em Bonus instead uses Ante → mandatory 2× continuation → optional 1× → optional 1× for a continuing hand.

Evolution‘s own product pages describe these as separate live poker products with different mechanics. Do not import Ultimate Texas Hold’em’s Blind paytable, dealer qualification, 3× or 4× early raise, or Trips side bet into this page.

Starting a Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker Round

Open the 789Bingo live casino area and locate Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker. Check the active table for its current PHP minimums, maximums and whether First Five is enabled.

    1. Place the Ante

The Ante is mandatory for the main game. Bonus and First Five, when available, are optional separate wagers.

    2. Read the two hole cards

The player cards are visible. The dealer’s two cards remain hidden.

    3. Fold or continue for 2×

Continuing requires a wager equal to twice the Ante. Folding ends the main game for that round.

    4. Evaluate the Flop

Three community cards appear. Choose whether to Check or add another amount equal to the Ante.

    5. Evaluate the Turn

A fourth community card appears. Again choose Check or a 1× wager.

    6. Watch the River and showdown

The fifth community card appears. There is no new betting opportunity after it. The dealer reveals the hole cards and the two best five-card hands are compared.

Key Point: Plan the bankroll for this casino game online around the possible 5× main-game exposure, not only the displayed Ante. A ₱500 Ante can require up to ₱2,500 across Ante, 2× continuation and both optional 1× wagers before side bets are counted.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the RTP of Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker?

Evolution's published rules report the optimized main-game return as 97.96% when measured against the Ante and 99.47% when measured against total wagering. These are two ways of expressing the same main-game mathematics, not separate selectable RTP settings. The optional Bonus wager is listed at 91.46%, while the published First Five Jackpot figure is 81.84%.

Why can the Ante push when I beat the dealer?

The Ante pays 1:1 only when the player's winning hand is a Straight or better under Evolution's rules. If the player wins with Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Pair or High Card, active continuation wagers can still win at 1:1, but the Ante is returned without profit.

Is there a betting decision after the River?

No. The final 1× betting opportunity occurs after the Turn and before the River. Once the River appears, the dealer reveals the hole cards and the game proceeds to showdown.

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker Multi-Street Betting Exposure

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker can expand one opening wager into several separate commitments. A ₱100 Ante can become ₱100 Ante plus ₱200 continuation plus potentially ₱100 after the Flop plus potentially ₱100 after the Turn for up to  ₱500 in main-game wagering before optional side bets. Set a maximum round exposure before choosing the Ante size.

Avoid increasing the next Ante simply because the previous dealer hand won or because a side bet narrowly missed. Each new shuffled round starts a new card distribution.

The 1,000:1 Bonus possibility and progressive First Five prize also should not determine the session budget. Both side wagers carry lower published theoretical returns than optimized main play.

Use disposable entertainment funds, deposit caps, session limits, timeouts and self-exclusion tools when appropriate. Gambling can be addictive; know when to stop.

For players comparing a poker online casino format where decisions continue after the initial deal, Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker occupies a useful middle ground between one-decision Casino Hold’em and the different raise structure of Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Similar dealer-led poker titles can be compared through the live casino collection.

The defining sequence is worth remembering: Ante → 2× to see the Flop → Check or 1× → Check or 1× → River → showdown and the Ante itself pays only when a winning hand reaches Straight or better for this casino game online. Gambling can be addictive; know when to stop.
